Fresh install, I opened http://server:3000 and there’s a login screen. What’s the initial admin login? And after signing in a setup wizard opened. Can I skip it? Other people on my team who sign in just get told to wait.
The first start creates a local admin account: admin / admin by default (ZR_ADMIN_PASS sets a different initial password). Sign in and the setup wizard opens.
Only the password and the agreements are required. The wizard then offers the licence, the sign-in method (local, Active Directory over LDAP, or OpenID Connect), your first DNS connection, and server settings (port, bind address, HTTPS). Everything after the password can be skipped and finished later from the Admin tab and the Settings drawer.
Until an administrator accepts the terms and sets a password, anyone else who signs in is asked to wait. That’s what your teammates are seeing.
One important point: the wizard is a convenience, not a security control. The seeded admin / admin credentials keep working at the login endpoint until the password is actually changed. If the server is reachable from an untrusted network, change the password first, or firewall it until you have.
